Reception - Ash Class

Class Teacher: Isabel Cebrian

We have been very busy learning the new routines in the classroom and in our school as well as making new friends and enjoying our vast outdoor space.

We have been very busy learning the new routines in the classroom and in our school as well as making new friends and enjoying our vast outdoor space.

All of the children have now settled well into Ash Class. We are a class that love reading lots of new stories and drawing pictures for our families. Thank you to all parents and carers for your support in helping your child to settle in to their new school environment. We love that so many of you are able to stay for a while in the morning and read with us.

We love being at school as all of our learning is based on our own interests. At the moment we are working on using our building learning power skills which include perseverance and collaboration, this will help us be the best learners we can be!

Reception - Willow Class

Class Teacher: Leann Byrne

This term in Willow Class we will be focusing on talking about ourselves and thinking about how we are the same or different to our friends. To help us with this we will use books such as You Choose, by Nick Sharratt. All children have now settled in to their new classroom and are enjoying the many different experiences on offer. I would just like to say a big thank you to all parents and carers for your support. The children show a true love for reading and enjoy having you read with them in the mornings.

We love exploring the outdoor area such as investigating in the mud-kitchen, finding different ways of moving on the climbing apparatus and we have also enjoyed picking apples in our garden area.
